Description This is a view from Bonehill Rocks overlooking Widecombe in Dartmoor National Park, South West England. Bonehill Rocks is one of hundreds of natural Tors on Dartmoor which are rock formations formed over thousands of years.Β

In actual fact you're not far off. ^^ The entire cornwall-devon region is comprised of granite, which forms as liquid magma cooling and hardening underground. It never reaches the surface until the pre existing rock is eroded away, to form these granite tors Geological formation of Britain is fascinating (and something I'll ramble on forever about )
