Here's beck as a mouse based on Belle's early Mouse design by Evan Stanley. I think he looks cute as a mouse-spiritsonic.tumblr.com/post/65…Overall, I think the mouse design would have fit Belle better instead of her just a marionette that looks like an unknown animal species.

I agree. But Evan decided to have her be a full Marionette that just looks like an known animal species. Some of the mouse features are still in there. Plus it was SEGA who suggested adding the hinged jaw piece to make look more puppet like.

I dont know. I guess because it makes her unique and makes her stand out from everyone else around her.
