Description Oh boy this was a fun one. Looking back at my old Godzilla design, I saw quite a few things I wasn't super pleased with. Namely, the fact that it was more of just a MV Godzilla recolor. I really wanted to add my own flare to my Godzilla design, really make it my own. Still stuck with the basic MV Godzilla body shape, but took more influences from prior Godzillas, namely Zilla (98) for the head and neck, Millenium for the spikes, and Shin for the tail and legs/feet especially. Definitely much more pleased with this one. As for the future of Kaiju Redesign, don't expect to many of these RedesignRedesigns, but yeah. Not too sure who exactly I'm going to do next, whether I'm going to introduce the next big bads (yes bads) first or if I'll do some for the kaiju I mentioned in this lore first. Probably will do at least some of the kaiju mentioned here first but not too sure.

The world itself was causing its own demise, Kaiju around the world wreaking havoc on cities as Ghidorah fed on the planet. It seemed all hope was lost as volcanic activity began to spike as the tectonic plates that the continents stood upon began to shake, causing islands to be submerged as the planet began to collapse in on itself, all cultivating in the virtually uncharted Skull Island sinking beneath the ocean as its inhabitants marooned onto an active Mt. Fuji. G-Force was struggling to keep track of all the kaiju around the world, trying to develop some sort of weapon to counteract Ghidorah. Tracking the different Kaiju, G-Force discovered something shocking, an injured Godzilla, several miles underwater. He appeared to be unresponsive to Ghidorah’s call.

A small team of G-Force scientists and field operatives went out with a new weapon, a powerful BioWeapon, the spiritual successor of the Oxygen Destroyer, the weapon which was first used on Godzilla. The weapon was brought on board the advanced vessel Gotengo, in an attempt to bring Godzilla, perhaps the planet’s only savior, back from the brink of death. The weapon was adjusted to benefit and repair the cells of Kaiju rather than decay them, and provide enough nuclear power to bring a kaiju back from the dead. The nuclear blast damaged the Gotengo, but the team succeeded in their mission, perhaps more so than expected, as the powerful nuclear blast not only healed Godzilla’s wounds, but the energy was absorbed into its body, causing it to grow and age at a rapid rate, and the fully grown Kaiju disappeared into the ocean with a newfound vengeance, as the Gotengo returned to the ruined city of Tokyo.

In the hours that followed, the newly reincarnated Godzilla was attacked on all fronts by Titanosaurus, Manda, Anguirus, and Rodan, along with the recently marooned Skull Island residents, drawn to Japan by Ghidorah. Meanwhile Battra, the first newly grown Mothra, corrupted by Ghidorah’s presence, circled above. But Godzilla didn’t waiver, taking each one down, firing powerful atomic blasts at the aerial Ghidorah as the fight for the very fate of the planet began. The fight lasted for days as Ghidorah’s superior aerial agility allowed it to dodge and weave through Godzilla’s attacks. However, one G-Force operative noticed a strange reaction from some of the kaiju around Godzilla. Anguirus, an ancient ally of Godzilla, alongside the now adult Rodan, seemed less inclined to fight. It seemed as though Ghidorah’s mental effects were fading, perhaps due to such a global outreach. Anguirus seemed to turn against its master, fighting off the waves of kaiju, as Rodan flew up, damaging Ghidorah’s wing, causing it to land.

It was then that Godzilla and Ghidorah’s true fight began, this time on Godzilla’s own turf, as he quickly gained the upper hand, using sheer muscular strength to overpower Ghidorah, ripping off one of its heads before delivering an incredibly powerful atomic blast, obliterating the alien kaiju. With the threat eliminated, people and kaiju around the world began to rest. Nature began to take its course as Skull Island inhabitants began to make their new homes in the ruins of Japan, people and kaiju were closer than ever before, and Godzilla began to butt heads with a new guardian--King Kong. But perhaps more concerning, a study of Ghidorah’s remains by G-Force scientists found an advanced device within one of its heads. Some kind of neural transmitter, far too advanced to have been developed by any human.

While Skull Island is underwater, a lot of the kaiju and wildlife survived and yeah they’re living on Japan now. So Japan is basically a new “Skull Island” of sorts. As for Ghidorah’s call, Kong is a pretty intelligent kaiju, but yeah he was effected, at least in some regard.
So expect some GvK stuff as Kong and the other kaiju start to make Japan a more permanent home. Don’t forget the environmental impact that the kaiju had on Skull Island.
