This is my work from 2015, and definitely the most complicated piece I've painted so far. It took slightly more than one month working at full gas to finish it.
I'm quite proud of the result, but nowadays I'm sure I can do better!

Trivia: If you're a fan, then you probably know that the Liger Zero Jager is equipped with Ion Turbo Boosters. Ion thruster really does exist, but is actually only capable of producing veeery little thrust (but very efficient), so in real life, there's not a slightest chance that an ion drive will be used as a booster (which requires very high thrust but expendable and doesn't have to be efficient).

Update: So I was casually looking around at my drafts folder, and found that I've saved my progression for this. I compiled it into one huge step-by-step image so you can see how this was made (I seem to forgot saving some last few steps though) sta.sh/0153mt7q5y84 (arranged from left to right, starting from the top)
