It's no secret that a lot of creative types have trouble sleeping. Often I will go sit outside at 3:00 AM and look at the night sky which has it's own sort of beauty. I notice deep absorbing hues in the darkness and soft reflecting properties over the city. The transition is beautiful and subtle. There is no black used in this painting it was made only of color. Hopefully, your display is accurate enough to see the subtle differences in the darks.
