It's an Epson. I don't know the exact model. I'm not at home right now, but I can look it up next time I am.
I know there's a setting when I scan negatives to scan either black and white or color. Maybe your scanner has a similar setting?

I tried to scan some negatives but the scanner wouldn't work (typical!), I'll try connecting it to another computer when I'm home again. It should have the same settings as yours, Epson and HP are in the same price & quality range ... thanks!

i love the 35mm shots, theyre a great idea, how did you get them developed? just like any other 35mm photos?

Yup! They develop just like any 35mm film. But to get the sprocket holes in the pictures, I just scanned the negatives!
