Description
There were some mice in a house that became worried when the owners took in a young white cat who pounced on everything that moved. The mice got together to decide what to do about the cat.

"I got an idea!" said one mouse. "We'll tie a bell around her neck! That way, we can hear the cat coming before she can pounce on any of us!"

"Great idea!" said another mouse. "Who will bell the cat? One two three not it!"

No other mice volunteered. And so the cat was not belled as planned.

Moral: Plans are useless without any follow through.
