Lol inorite? I dont like doing them either, but the better you get at backgrounds, then the better your images start to look because they have more of a context to them ^^

Just observe the proportions of a real human body and try to translate it into your drawing For example use yourself as a model, or look at photo references on DA etc

I've found that I do ALOT better at looking at pics and drawing them than coming up with them on the dot. And character designing is hard. >.<

Well you gotta start somewhere right? As long as you don't use it as a crutch, or you'll never really get any better at getting ideas

Character designing is not so bad, i find if you just go with the flow (what feels right for a character) then it gets easier after a time

For me, characters just come as they come, for lack of a better word For instance, Marcus and Zeke both came as names first and then i built personalities around them as the ideas came to me. Ren was slightly opposite in that i had a concept for his character first, and then the name came. I think the main thing is not to force anything, as that may mean your characters end up with characteristics that don't really fit them and are just part of them because it sounds like a cool characteristic to have.

I see. It's like one of my friends. He builds characters around songs he hears. He told me how he does it and I found it very interesting. =3 I also love the character profiles you make. Everytime you upgrade it I learn more and more facts about them. XD Celeb happens to be one of my favorite HH characters. Him and Wei Ren. Can't decide. >> How did you come up with Celeb?

The thing about my OCs is for the most part they are fairly...normal Well, bar some things like what they get up to on occasion lol! Basically, Caleb came about as a reminder of the more bullying aspect of high school, and since he and Izm are somewhat evenly matched in terms of a fight, Caleb also makes a good antagonist for him

You know, when i was very young i watched Night of the Living Dead and from then on zombies have always been the scariest "ghoul" out there for me |D

Ah, thank you. I had always loved zombies. It was always different from the "always popular" vampires. My favorite kind of zombies are the one with their jaws torn or distorted. XD
