I will miss this little horse greatly. First time I showed him at Grade 3 Level, He jumped out of the dressage arena. Also he kicked an olympic cross country rider in the leg for no reason other than he felt that she was invading his personal space. Ah, Good times.A quick little thank you gift to his owners who allowed me to exercise and show thier lovely and slightly crazy horse, Indiana.

On this picture I used Mainly Derwent pencils but I added a wash of water colour over the top in some places

Not very long, I cheated slightly and used water paint over the top to get a smooth colour with darker hints so wouldn't have to use my pencils too much.

ahh! clever... I got tierd of sharpening my pencils for one of my pieces ( ..."brothers" or somthin' ) so I used water colours too
that's my least favourite part about pencils lol.. and I always feel like I'm wasting them

That's how I feel too. I also feel terrible because I know I am treating them badly but I suppose it's the only way I can learn how to use them better.

Gorgeous coloring, I love especially how you have colored edges between brown and white markings. Lovely details! Eye is also great and that jewelry on mane.
