Guys guys my tablet pen died, I finished this scratching the touchpad and with my sister's huge, half broken tablet AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'LL DO! Luckily I have around 10 pages of this done, which will update daily from Tuesday on. I hope two weeks are enough for me to either get a new tablet pen or die. The latest seems like a more plausible option.

I'm a traditionalist and up until I saved this piece was never attracted to digital art - this captured me. I've looked at it every day since you posted it trying to figure out why in the world it has captured my attention - out of the context for which it was created (macabre and horror) - I see it as....hum...carefree (?), with a degree of frivolity - and oh so beguiling.....a wonderful character, despite the scars and blood -

My mom paints with oil. Ever since I was old enough she tried to teach me techniques, and she insisted in the fact that a single, shapeless stroke could be more powerful at portraying feeling than a thoughtful detail. She actually never let me paint with oil because it was so messy and she's such a control freak but I still practiced in the computer what I saw in her impressionistic paintings.
Also, the fact that my tablet was broken so I did this in a rush can help the carefree effect. Actually, I love the carefree effect. I should apply it more often. :>
