for contest. Use two colors. I chose red and blue, and yes, that means I can use all of the colors in between, like grey-red, light blue, white, black, etc.So, I don't really like drawing legendaries, because they are too epic. But I made an exception for Kyogre because the opportunity was too good to pass. He's based loosely off of prehistoric whales really, plus he's really freaking old if he's the god of the sea.
Anyone up for a swim? :3

Sea monsters + realistic pokemon! It's a fantastic combination. I love this, especially the way the color and saturation fades away as you look deeper.Β Beautiful work!

I'm not sure if Kyogre would try to eat the guy like Jaws, or playfully nudge his boat like a gray whale.

I saw this picture online like a year ago, and I was awed by it. It is beautifully done, and now that I realize it's done with only two colors I am amazed even more. I love how only just the top corner is sky and surface, and the rest of the picture is this behemoth of a sea beast. This is an excellent piece, and I am glad I finally found the artist of it.
