I think that had you used a 1 stop GND you could have achieved a little more brightness on the bottom there, without sacrificing highlight detail. But that is my 2 cents.

I love the way that the light hits those leaves in the background. Very beautiful shots. I need to get back east one of these days to check out all of these beautiful scenes!

You know I never think of using a GND unless I see the sky. Great idea. Thanks and if you ever get out this way look me up, I'd love to shoot with other passionate photographers.

On youtube I saw a video of Tony Sweet (I think that is who it was) and he was using a GND in a similiar situation. The outcome was very nice. I think that a lot of people forget about GND's when they are in a forest.
