Sharp and well composed. I like the foreground interest, its very interesting

Did you use any filters?

Thanks, I use ND Grads and Polarizers. I am starting to think I would be better off bracketing my shots and combining them is PS. I'm not a huge fan of HDR but combining two shots as you would with a filter, to get the sky properly exposed, is just easier and you have more control. Just my 2 cents.

I only have one Cokin GND at the moment to, so I blend most of my exposures. I prefer using GND's though, I like seeing the result right then and there, you know

I know what you mean. The problem I have is that with my 10-22 my Cokin "P series" just barely fits so I have to hand hold it very steadily. Not an easy task. I wanted to get the "Z" series holder and get some larger filters but that costs alot. So I think to save the money I'm going to be digitally blending more often. I can still use the filters I have to see what I'm going to get. Oh the other thing is that my GND is starting to get pretty scratched up. I still think a polarizer is a must to have. You can't get the same effect in post process when reducing glare from wet rocks, leaves, etc. Anyway thanks for the talk.

Do you have the Cokin wide angle single slot holder? My P series Cokin filter doesn't seem to fit all that well in that. It slides down and isn't a tight, like it was in the standard three slot holder... Do you get that?

I just have the standard 3 slot holder but I don't have an adapter for the 77mm size so I hand hold it for now. I was going for the z series holder and get a nice set of Lee filters. That would be great but the wife wouldn't like it.

With the Cokin wide angle holder, it comes with an attachment for Z series filters.
So I can get both, don't think I'll go Z yet though, not until I'm shooting full frame and now I can only afford the 85mm Hitechs which are meant to be fantastic

I'll have to check that out. I went through some of your gallery. I must say you have some nice shots. Personally I'm not a fan of the shots that look like HDR - with the halos. You do have some compositions that are fantastic. Good luck to you.
