Personality:
Rinne is a carefree young man that likes to live his life day by day. Due to his nosy nature, one may describe him as a busy body and obnoxious. Even so, he's always out and about with much energy during the day and greeting others as he makes his rounds. That being said, he isn't necessarily friendly. If anything, he's incredibly off-putting with his assertiveness and carries an eerily aware aura with him. He always appears laid back and as if he's not paying attention, but that's the kicker. In reality, Rinne's ears pick up a myriad of things all over the place, and he's good at perceiving people and situations for what they are, in an atmospheric sense.

Rinne is outwardly stubborn and isn't one to hide what he's feeling, he does however, hide what it is he's thinking, because he can. So while his inital emotions are often honest, his ulterior motive may sometimes be elsewhere. And by that nature, he can be defined as cunning and a bit of a manipulate. Don't be afraid to talk to him, fearing a Satori is the worst thing you can do. Do approach with caution, though.

Bonus: He's probably considered more scary during his sealed form, since children of lore tend to have creepy airs about them. So his unsealed form seems a lot more approachable (that is to say if either forms don't approach you first). But still approach with caution, especially his unsealed form.

*History:

Rinne came from a family of wise, pureblood Satori. During the war, a human priest had sealed their third eye, thus locking their power to see into the human heart. The seal worked in such a way that only the priest himself could remove it, though he had no intention of doing so anytime soon.

With the death of the priest, however, the seal weakened just enough to let Rinne's family live freely again, but not enough to harm others. During the day, Rinne himself maintains his sealed form, which is small in stature and less intimidating. At night, he is free to remove the seal from his eye, aging him back up. However, his abilities are not of complete use. The night is when most sleep and dream, and therefore, most, if not all thoughts, are impossible to decipher between fiction and reality. So while he can read thoughts again, Rinne has chosen not to- for fear the abstract thoughts would lead him to the same fate as removing the seal inappropriately would.

Extra information:
*He's lusty so while he isn't really looking for a relationship he'll take what he can get when the opportunity presents itself?
*His personality does not change at all between his ages so he's literally either a matureish tween or a childish adult there's no inbetween
*The one emotion he's learned to hide is fear. From experience, he's learned that fear can only lead to his downfall. So if a situation begins to turn against his favor, he just. tries to pluck himself from it as swiftly as possible without trying to alert others.
*He's cowardly
*His ears are really big and rounded like monkey ears.
*Those big ears are good for something. While his ability is sealed, his hearing ability is amplified. Not to superman levels, but still about human comprehension. When his eye isn't sealed, however, his hearing is dulled. He may ask you to repeat something a few times.
*He's still just as verbal and expressive regardless of his state of hearing
*His family had built up traditions of gluttonous eating in the later generations, since they had to fast during the war.
*As a result he's also glutton. Though he can't really eat what he craves most in this village; human flesh.
*Human flesh is not his favourite food but after being restricted in the village, he craves it all the more.
*He can lift the paper seal so if you wanna take a look at a sleeping eye on his forehead, by all means
*He, however, cannot remove the seal completely (untie it from around his head), or else the curse from the exorcism sets in.
*In exchange for some treats every now and then, he works at the restaurant as a "hype man" or poster boy. He can tell when people are hungry and occasionally what they are craving, so he'll hop over to them and harass them to come on in and eat.
*Sake enthusiast
*Contrary to when he's sober, he's a quiet and rational drunk.
*He likes sake but he hardly ever goes overboard and gets drunk. Those times are few and far inbetween.
*He likes being given things but if you want something in return you'll need to solve for riddles save a princess on the moon and give an arm and a leg. All of this being damn near literal.
*His third eye is always looking where he is not
*He's kind of hairy and he doesn't like it, especially working in the food industry, so he usually covers his arms and legs. Still has some strands on his fingers and toes though
*more as his chara develops (hope i get in??)
