I've come up with several video game ideas over the past year, including stuff like Shonen Jump vs Mortal Kombat or a PlayStation Smash Bros, but haven't really decided on what to make as a spin-off to BOND (Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball). I've recently acquired all three Smash Bros titles (bought Brawl in 2008, downloaded Smash 64 in January, and got Melee a couple weeks ago), and I nearly exploded with excitement when Sony officially announced their version of Smash Bros, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. I've also been getting into the idea of Shonen Jump vs Capcom, especially after becoming an admin for their facebook page. Literally hundreds of ideas came to mind but I finally decided on Shonen Jump All-Stars Brawl.It is to be a spin-off of BOND and my Smash Bros Console Wars(hypothetically, of course). It would be the crossover of Shonen Jump (DBZ, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.), PlayStation (infamous, Jak, Twisted Metal, etc) and Nintendo (Mario, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, etc.)
I wish I would've had more time to work on the cover, but I only got to work on it today and today was my last day of school, so I no longer have access to photoshop.

Goku, being the most overpowered character in the world of shonen, he can probably beat all enemies up.
Now I want to watch Cole versus Pikachu

I always liked the idea of customizable characters! It gives out a lot more variety!

Oh man, the possibilities are limitless. You got new ulit moves too.
MercerGrath gets some sort of Bio Electrical Bomb that destroys everything.
IchigoNaruto can unleash Rasen Gensou Tenshou shuriken that can destroy anything.
But I wonder how the gameplay mechanics work on this.

Since the majority of the roster (Smash and All-Stars) come from four player fighting games, I figured the gameplay would work around the style of the classic Ultimate Ninja and Budokai series. Epic boss fights like the Naruto Storm series would be there too

i dont think the nintendo characters can hold their own against the others

against which characters? You seem to underestimate Nintendo. Ones like Link, Mario, a large number of Pokemon, and even Captain Falcon on pretty on par with Sony characters like Cole, Jak, and Kratos. Dragon Ball is just about the most overpowered Jump series, and both Sony and Nintendo can actually match series like Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece.
Now, I can see minor Nintendo characters like Olimar or Game and Watch being rather weak, but mst major characters are pretty powerful.

well mario is mainly famous for jumping on small animals and playing sports on his days off. at the most he can fly and throw fire balls. kirby does have the advantage of swallowing opponents to gain similar powers, but it only works if the opponent is at a lower level or near equal to him. like in his games, he cant absorb bosses until after hes beaten them. link does know how to fight. he's resourceful and an excellent knight and archer. and he has taken out opponents much more bigger than him, but he does it by blocking blockable attacks, dodging dodgable attacks, and throwing a bomb in a hole that practically says "place bomb here". now captin falcon does have a fighting chance, along with high leveled pokemon.
but dragon ball characters have been known to blow up planets and moons without a sweat. kratos does have a habit of killing gods and climbing out the pits of the underworld. bleach characters arnt as high as dbz characters, but they do like fighting in enviroments where they can vaporize buildings and mountains in a single sword slice. and cole is a bit more earthy. he'd be a good match for captin falcon or a strong pokemon. but if he does get a hand on one of them, he can suck the live out of them if he doesnt mind the moral code.
i just think its a big difference between settings. i mean spiderman is strong and agile in his dimension, but throw him in with dragon ball or superman, and he wouldnt last 10 minutes

You're right about the levels of power being attributed to each's dimension. Smash Bros, for instance, makes characters stronger than usual.
The thing about Mario is that he can adapt his powers just with items or articles of clothing (the mushrooms, feathers, Starman, certain suits), so if he got a hold of certain items, they could boost his power. Kirby may not be able to absorb bosses, but he is able to absorb every playable character in Smash Bros. Link in Majora's Mask is able to use certain masks to transform into what it represents, even a character that is considered a god. He is also able to use his ocarina to manipulate the flow of time and if he plays the song of healing under certain conditions, the one he played it to will transform into a transformation mask. And obviously, there's a Pokemon for just about every scenario.

its true that in a fighting game like ssb or psasbr, the even characters out by nerfing the strong ones, and boosting the weaker ones. so in a game, yes, everyone has as equal of a chance as long as the game designers do a good job at making all the characters fair. but i was just talking with the raw physics in each of their own world. mario, kirby and link can fight, but they wouldnt be able to stand one hit against these other guys, and i dont think they have the speed to avoid their accuracy or the reaction to try to avoid these guy's godly speeds attacks. it only takes one hit

Link could. As I said, he can manipulate time and has a mask that could put him on par with a shinigami from Bleach

I think he's strong enough to clash with Kratos. It's even called the Fierce Deity's mask, meaning he has a large power level. Against Ichigo, he'd have a challenge, but against some standard shinigami, he wouldn't have that much trouble.

Strongest Nintendo character? It's a hard choice, but I'd have to go with Tabuu from Smash Bros Brawl. He's never been seen in any other game, but to have the power to instanly KO every other Nintendo character is pretty impressive, even on an even playing field. Second would be most of the legendary pokemon, specifically Mew and Mewtwo. Mewtwo has been revered as the strongest pokemon, even with the introduction of Arceus, and Mew is capable of every single Pokemon attack, even Ditto's transform move. and then I classify Link as third strongest.

tabuu counts i guess, because ssb counts as a nintendo game of its own. but its hard to relate the level of his powers outside his dimension withought a proper setting. arceus actuall has the highest stats out of all the pokemon. arceus has a base stat of 720, and mewtwo has 680 along with lugia, ho-oh, rayquaza, dialga, palkia, and giratina. and not only that, but arceus's background has him holding all the plates and he can nullify every type of attack. and hes the only pokemon that can learn judgment. even mew cant learn it

mewtwo is like a powerhouse for psychic attacks though. he's very cool, and used to be the most intimidating pokemon out there. especially in the movies. i think my favorite legend is kyogre because i love the deep sea. and then i kinda like that gensect guy i hardly know, because hes like a bug and a tank. and i think its cool having the 1st bug legend because the guy that invented pokemon got the idea from his hobby of bug catching as a kid, and i did a lot of bug catching too as a kid ^^

and my OC does have a few things in common with Cole, like an alternate timeline counterpart

sort of like a mix of fan fiction and my own stuff. the main story revolves around OC's based off myself and my friends, and then some characters, like Cole, are put into the story.
As for why I like Cole and infamous so much....well, aside from the fun I have with the free roam and hero or villain gameplay, the thing that draws me toward Cole is how relatable he is. A normal guy working as a bike courier, suddenly develops superpowers after an explosion that kills millions...gets the opportunity to choose his destiny, it's awesome! That and that fact that unlike most heroes, he runs around as himself, without the need of hiding who he is.
