Thanks! If I remember rightly this shot was taken in the middle of a quite narrow chinatown street, and given the angle of the sun I think this was the best I could do

Aye! Its the biggest and best one in all of Japan to boot. Back when the country was closed off to the outside world Nagasaki was the only place for foreigners to trade in, and what with China being so close and important, they were allowed to settle, along with the Portugese and the other odd foreigner. Now its mostly restaurants... but rather tasty ones though

Great job on this, the colors are perfect, the compostion is really nice, the lanterns create this wonderful mood, and the square crop works nice on this.

Thanks! I had this sort of crop in mind when I took the photo, but as I never can tell how they'll eventually end up, I was quite pleased with this result. That said, I've had high hopes of others that have ended up unuseable, so I'm of the win-some lose-some frame of mind
