Description
Title is a horrid pun! Sorry!!This adorable asian short clawed otter was taking a nap while waiting for his keeper to put the food out.
He is so relaxed that I had a German student in one of the hostels I was staying at tell me "So you took a picture of a dead otter?"
I assure everyone that I watched this otter walk down to the sand from the pool, sunbathe for a while and then run over for it's food.
Taken at the London Zoo in May.

Thanks. I thought so too when I took the picture but I showed it to a German tourist and she looked at me and said "It is dead". Silly Germans. I watched it walk over to this spot and lie down.

Reminds me of a Rolf Harris story about some farmer who was getting a lot of concerned people checking on his horse, who had a habit of sleeping on his back - it got to the point when he had to put up a sign in the horse's field, clearing stating, "THIS IS NOT AN EX-HORSE!"

He was so comfy just lying there..he rolled about a few times so I took a herd of pictures of him. Oh Rolf...you crazy guy with a crazy horse. XD
