Description
The Hennibrandts are a phosphorus based humanoid race from a colorful moon called Hanto III, one of five moons orbiting a gas giant called Hanto Major. Hanto III is a caustic, hot moon covered with brightly colored acid vents. The environment is dangerous for most lifeforms, so the local Hennibrandts are left in peace. Their main interaction with the outer worlds is their valued exports including dyes, acidic laboratory compounds and the most potent fertilizers in the galaxy. They often send healers to the outer worlds to astonish beings with the healing capabilities of their “hearthfire” ability. Hennibrandts come in a wide variety of shapes and colors, ranging from violet and magenta to red, yellow, white and even black. Females are generally darker in color than males and possess more potent hearthfire. A Hennibrandt DNA sample was used to restore the damaged Pyronite DNA sample in the Hexamatrix, leading to a new breed in the form of Phosphyre. The name “Hennibrandt” is inspired by the discoverer of Phosphorus, German chemist Hennig Brand.
