A bit of an update and redesign for the paragon of pristine, the sultan of suds..Master Clean. Most changes are to his proportions and the design of his suit. Most notably, I’ve included his cleaning drones, Scrub and Dub! They are two drones the Master wears on his hips, they both possess the ability to generate small amounts of suds, as well as retractable arms for scrubbing and trash gathering. They also make for handy surveillance drones. Scrub and Dub also possess a miniature version of Master Clean’s “Sterilizer”, which isn’t as powerful as the Master’s but does a pretty good job.

Master Clean’s abilities revolve around his ability to generate powerful detergents within his suit which are stored in the tanks on his back. These detergents can either be simple household cleansers, or industry level detergents that can cause burns to the skin and eyes. He can also generate high pressure aerosol disinfectants for destroying microbes and giving everything a clean, fresh scent. If dealing with very strong contagions, Master Clean can utilize “The Sterilizer” to fire a strong beam of ultraviolet light, which absolutely destroys any remaining pathogens. It can also be used offensively to cause severe burns.

Master Clean is a Purgandum, a race of yellow skinned humanoids from the metropolis planet Neovisa. Where they come from originally is unknown, as many have been there so long that they themselves have forgotten. Of all the races of Neovisa, the Purgandum are easily treated the worst. The Neovans and Hertzians see the Purgandum as absolutely ridiculous and expect them to be their maids and janitors. The Purgandum can’t help but comply, as they all have an instinctive compulsion for cleaning. The Purgandum are often so overwhelmed by the urge to clean that they struggle to socialize, making them targets for harassment. If the Thermotons and Hubbellothales weren’t there to look out for them, they would almost certainly be enslaved. The Purgandum are treated the way mentally handicapped humans were often treated, which absolutely infuriated Lex Hex when he was stranded on Neovisa. Even as a child, Lex was very protective of people like that. He nearly got thrown in a Neovan prison for dismantling a group of Neovans who were beating up a Purgandum..all while in his human form. Following that experience, he formed the Master Clean persona to give other Purgandum a hero to look up to, to show the world that they’re much more than just janitors. Since the advent of Master Clean, many Purgandum have been inspired to stick up for themselves, and those who hadn’t spoken for years finally found their voice.
