Well, noticed!

It's painted for a guy who collects  latex masks  
{ it's a companion piece to the quicksand zombie painting}
And based on one of the rarest Don post masks  , with  only one  original left !

it does look like a reptile , a bit like the lizard faces in  "V"
But was described as a zombie when they sold it though !?

I can see a lot of the V series when I look at it. I watched the reboot they did of it, it really fell short of the mark.
I've heard the name Don Post before. Didn't he have something to do with the Mike Myers from Halloween?
I'm looking at the picture and wondering how anyone could think that was a zombies rather than something reptilian.

Don Post were  associated with  classic monster masks in the 60's   USA until fairly recently
Their output was a bit  hit and miss really , but they are very collectible now

The Mike myers  story , is that Halloween No 1 was so strapped for cash , that they just bought a don post  captain kirk mask  , removed the front of the hair and painted it white !
So Myers looks like  William Shatner
It's caused all sorts of licencing  problems through history , Another company got the rights from the film makers  to produce Halloween myers masks   and Don Post sued , because they  were being kind of cheated !
I'm surprised Shatner hasn't tried to get in on it

I imagine there would be a bit of licensing problems with Star Trek maybe but not the original makers of the mask.
It would be funny if they got Shatner to show up in one of them movies and someone make a comment on how it kind of looks like him.

Funny enough the myers mask didn't look that much like Shatner  from Star trek
but as he has become older and chubbier , he looks more and more like the mask

I saw an image some one did where they painted a Spock mask to look like a Myers one and it actually looked surprisingly creepy.
I also noticed that Shatner is indeed looking more and more alike the mask XD
