It is said he also may be the father and creator of the sprites who also carry out protection and preservation of forests across the realms. He also safeguards those who travel throughout his forests, people often wear charms with his likeness or images of things that symbolize him for protection while traversing the woods.
Glen encounters Milloch in book 2 when they are attacked within the wood; the deity bringing them to safety before slipping away.
