I thought this would take longer, but it was actually okay. Although I do think I spent over 15 hours on this picture, it felt more like 10 hours because it was fun!I like how the words Uchiha on the house/building totally doesn't match the rest of the pic lol

... Maybe it's a prank? (No seriously, wouldn't it be a hilarious [read:terrifying] prank if Naruto made like a giant wood board cutout of the 9 tails, painted it as realistic as possible, and then just erected it just outside of Konoha? Like the citizens wake up in the morning, look out their windows and just see the cutout, and promptly crap themselves? I would laugh.)
Honestly I think it's mostly symbolic- like just to show main themes/characters of the show. (I mean, why else would Sasuke be strutting across the bridge. He spends most of Shipuuden emphatically not in Konoha. There's also a giant snake in the background that I think is supposed to Orochimaru. )

I really love this amazing piece of art! I would seriously like it if you explained some of the symbolism in the picture because I'm a bit confused on how to perceive it! Still, absolutely gorgeous.

On a side note, this is very lovely and a bit sad as well. I absolutely love Sasuke walking away across the bridge, something about that detail appeals to me. The lily pads and their soft glow on the water is magnificent.

Looks awesome. And like Team Seven turned terrorist or something, hanging around Kyuubi and big snakes wrecking houses or whatever, with blood on their sleeves. (And personally, I approve - always liked those villain protagonists)
Uh, missed the 'Uchiha' over that door, there. Something symbolic? Craaaa- (pinches bridge of nose). Right, Sasuke going over to the other side (of the bridge), and snakes wrecking private property, all pretty straightforward. Both boys with their backs to Sakura, her being left behind, sure sure. Was the whole Kyuubi container thing some form of pressing issue back when this pic was made, explaining Naruto's demonic facial traits and the big fox smirking on the horizon?
But **** me with a crowbar if I can figure out what the fish mean. "In Japanese symbolism the koi represents perserverance in adversity and strength of purpose." Yeah I'm pretty sure that can probably be fitted into any character 'round this block, plenty of fans to find *some* angle.
Whatever, just idle musings. Peace out.

So I found Naruto's Kyuubi & frog, and Sasuke's snake... but I can't seem to find Sakura's slug...

Scenes like this are really rare in Naruto fan art. Good job. I love the dark colors. Usually when I watch the anime the extremely happy bright colors annoy me. But these colors are beautiful and rich. It's also cool that you made Sasuke walk away and it's cool that we can't see his face. Also from left to right the 3 faces are each less exposed... that's interesting... don't know if you did that on purpose. Good coloring skills as well.
