Recently I'm painting many portraits and practice my digital skills. I'm very happy, because I see my improvement with every new piece.This demon is one of a hundred. I drew creatures like him in my sketchbooks to release stress and to calm down.. drawing these little demons felt like an escape because I always put myself under pressure when it comes to drawing. Hands needed to be perfectly shaded, The lightning had to be on point, everything needed detail and had to be "perfect".. because I thought that's what makes good art.. Failure had to be punished by more and more practice.."punished" because drawing wasn't fun anymore, I took it too serious. I always wanted to be the best me. That's how I started my "odd creature" sketch book. Drawing without thinking, just doing, not planning, just slipping away. That's all.
