You could use blender 2.8's eevee engine (much faster and there would be no noise at all)

Ay thanks for the tip! And yeah definetly except my computer is too old and can't handle Blender 2.8 but when I get a new computer I'd definetly go for Blender 2.8!
When it comes to noise I don't know that much but it sounds pretty good how you describe it!

Oh i forgot to something else.. If you wanna put a pixelated texture you can go to shader editor and in the IMAGE TEXTURE node, find the Linear and set it to cubic (if i remember correctly)

WOW, this is so amazing!!!! I just can't understand how you did it!
3d animation has always been something mysterious to me hehe
Incredibly cute chibi and nice background! And the movement is very smooth, in any case it seems to me, you are really talented in working with 3d
Btw, speaking of rendering, I heard that even quite powerful computers do this for hours, render inevitably takes some time...however there is a difference in the quality and complexity of the received result)))
GREAT WORK!!!

Ahw thank you so much! I did it using lot's and lot's of tutorials and trying to apply what I've learned from those and a lot's of experimenting and fooling around in the program untill something worked. Although it doesn't look all that great! But I am really glad you like it!
Ahw thank you so much on both the background and the chibi. The movement can look a bit weird but I think one of the benefits of 3D is making things move is very easy.
Really you think so! Wow I am so so flattered thank you so much!
And it's true large models with lot's of detail can take very long to render. However this is a very low poly model and room like you said a diffrence in complexity. But since my computer is old it takes 4 hours to render. I think a higher spec computer would do this in around 10 minutes or even less. However my dad let's me borrow his computer to render. His computer has a bit better specs so it only takes around 2-3 hours to render. And that way I can still work on my computer while rendering!

How are your animation doin?

Hakuran-tan In reply to LeLumy [2019-05-23 12:41:47 +0000 UTC]
oh thank you for asking~)))
Now I do some simple animations with movements, there is nothing special in them, I think, but I will post them when finish
And later I would like to do one of these movements in the program, like that animation with hair in the wind
And speaking of that long animation, -1 - if you remember, hehe, I finally completed the initial stage, got about 300 frames, I scanned them, but now need to mount all this somehow... But I don’t often get to the computer and it sometimes makes me think about giving up ... But even so, I still hope to bring it to the end!!
And I got a led tablet, I didn’t even know how comfortable it is to animate, especially compared to the self-made blueprint lamp I used before, it wasn’t convenient to put it on the table, it’s not very convenient to draw and the image was not exactly copied as a result. But with the led tablet everything is different, now there is a desire to draw even more although probably for the most part it will be sketches with movements ^^

Wow amazing you are practicing animation now that's dedication! Do you still do everything traditional? Or are you going to do some fully digital?
Wow scanning 300 frames that's amazing that takes so long. I can still remeber the time that I had to scan in one chapter of comic lineart so about 21 pages it took so long haha
Ah I see you got a lightpad very nice! Do you also use peg bars and animation paper (or punch holes)?
Well anyway looking forward to any of your animations they always look so beautifull and well animated! Love to see a (short) cartoon of your animations those some day!
Well let's both keep working hard on animations!

Hakuran-tan In reply to LeLumy [2019-05-23 16:27:45 +0000 UTC]
Hehe, I'm glad you think so~
Well, I do several animations-sketches traditionally, they will not be colored, this only line art. But later one of these things, probably the most successful, I will try to make completely digital and color.. Although it is unlikely there will be a complex background ^^
Btw, this is an animation of running
In fact, my scanning process takes not very long, as it seems to me, I divide the A4 sheet into 4 parts - 4 frames, so I can scan several at once,
but much more scares me how to process/combine them in the program XDD
Oh, you drew your comics on paper! hehe, this feel is familiar to me too, but I did not have to scan so many pages...unfortunately...
I saw your work and it looks cool!!
hmm, I have never used animation paper... I take copier paper and cut it into several pieces, sometimes the frames are very tiny
Haha, maybe it's strange, but I can't get used to using the entire sheet for one frame, I'm just afraid to spoil it, even knowing that there are many more XD
And I don’t know if it’s important to fasten frames, I usually don't do it, because often move it into separate stacks ^^
Thank you very much for your kind words, this gives a lot of confidence, I will try!!
And yes, let's do it!!!

LeLumy In reply to Hakuran-tan [2019-05-24 20:12:38 +0000 UTC]
Ow I see well looking forward to it! Colored is nice too!
Wait so 4 frames on one sheet wow I never heared of doing it that way very creative and probably time saver too!
Yeah I saw all your favs really thank you! I hope you enjoyed the comic (although it will continue as animations most likely)
Eh it's okay unless you have a punch hole animation paper can be pricey. I think your method should work fine! Ow that's okay for the short while (before I dropped out) I was in animation school we never used the entire sheet. We draw a smaller rectangle in the middle probably to get it closer to screen format
I don't know what you mean by fasten frames? Do you mean the duration of sme frames to give movement a sense of speed? Because if it's that then it's something you have to get a feeling for I think you are doing right when it comes to that!
Ahw thank you so much! Yeah for sure!

Hakuran-tan In reply to LeLumy [2019-05-26 12:51:15 +0000 UTC]
Thank you very much~ And thank you for considering it creative, hehe, this way really saves both time and paper
Oh, it's not worth it, I really liked your comic, and it will be great to see its continuation in the form of animation, I think this is quite unusual, because artists when choose the method of realization for their stories between comics and animation, they often choose the first, but you make exactly the cartoon and it's cool!
Clearly... I tried to find such paper on the Internet, but looks like besides the price it is also rare... In excess it is only in studios
Oops, sorry When you said about the hole punch, I suggested that one of the advantages of animation paper are holes at the edges, so that it can be fixed to special pins so that it does not move during drawing. But I do not fix paper/frames because often lay them on the table sequentially or move them to visually imagine what happens^^
And if you meant that I talked about calculating the speed of movement (frame duration) (?) Thanks~ although I do it with great difficulty

Yess totally in animation school (although for a short while) we used up sooo much paper. Especially when I had to do an assignment over. It's crazy
Yes I can totally see where that comes from. Lot's of quality has to be sacrificed to get animations out fast well unless you want to be taking it for several months for just one animation. And even then it's quite time consuming I don't know if this is the way to go with the story. Or you should have a group working together. Comic are way more managable
Wow that's amazing you it's kinda like using onion skin but in your head. You can plan out the animation that way? Amazing! Well it's true that in school they said that you should draw out all the key poses in one drawing for a movement to make it clearer for yourself. When using the lightpad it makes it easier to trace too!
Ow really I didn't think at all your animation move at a great pacing. And it's something you'll get better at over time I am sure!
Anyway keep up the great animation work! Always looking forward to any of your future works!

Yeah the zoomy effect was so fun to do! It's like one of those handy things you can do easily in 3D. And haha I thought it would be cute if he waved at the camera. Thank you so much!

Ow no not at all. It took a long time to figure out how to program worked but once I got to know it a little better animating wasn't that hard. The animation part was done in less than an hour. Most of the time went into modelling (and rendering although I just let my computer render it at night while I was asleep)
It's actually pretty fun!
