I'm assuming Samus fought several Xenos at once, because I don't think that one Xeno would be able to leave visible scratches on the suit. Regardless, very cool.

If there was ever a space fairing warrior that curbstomp the Xeno's hard, it be Samus.
Armor that is specifically extremely acid resistant.
Weapons that can neutralize said acid via freezing or incineration.

I figure that the Hazard Shield from Prime 3 would neutralize the Xeno acid since it protects her from Acid Rain and Fuel Gel. If not by itself, then combined with the Varia Suit(going off of Zero Missions) should be able to balance that out.

According to the manga, Samus herself is also somewhat acid resistant.
It sort of explains the relatively barren overworld. In the manga desribes the rain on Zebes as highly acidic, enough so to have to take her federation partners through Brinstar as the acid rain would be too harsh for them, but not the old Chozo, Samus, or her pet. Eluding that the acid rain, for those two, was more dangerous than the wildlife of Zebes... perhaps because she couldn't protect them from the rain, but still.
