For all her vulnerable cuteness, Torchic is far from defenseless. Her body hides a fiery core making her an extremely good Pokemon for cold winter nights. She is also capable of spitting fireballs reaching temperatures of over 1800 degrees farenheit. Enough to dissuade most predators. She is however vulnerable to other fire type Pokemon such as Quilava and water types, like Croconaw. Torchic is also reported to be afraid of the dark.
