Guess who became trash of a certain popular manga/anime series half a year ago but only just now started doing fanart because they’re lazy?? Yeah, it took me long enough, right?
I really like Ochako. Everything from her outlook on life to her motivation and goals in becoming a hero are admirable, not to mention the fact that she’s quite mature for her age. Oh yeah, and she has by far the easiest face and hair to draw. Ever. Too bad her hero outfit is kinda a pain…. I hate those wrist donuts so much…
There are way too many BnHA characters I want to draw. Send help.
What in the... in around 48 hours since posting this, it's become my most favorited thing? I guess BnHA really is popular... dang.

I'm really glad to know it was worth it. I'll definitely be doing more BnHA fanart; it's such an amazing series! I'm a bit bummed I didn't draw anything for it earlier, but now I have a whole list of ideas I hope to do.

That is exactly how I feel and I couldn't have worded it better! There are soooooo many ideas I have, but I feel like many are out of my skill level currently (the perspective is difficult, the lighting is hard, the pose is dynamic, that sort of thing) or I'm just intimidated by the fact that I haven't drawn the character before and don't quite know if I'll be able to make them look right.

You know, lots of people loves to do redrawings of their older works, maybe you can do this too, in order to see how much you improved with time, i mean, you try to do that drawing anyway, and later on you'll redo it better!
And it's completely fine if you do BnhA unrelated stuff, it'll be awesome anyway so worth watching

I've done that before in the past, and I really would like to do it again at some point! The problem for me is that I just have so many new ideas that it's hard to find the time to redraw an older thing.

I haven't watched BnHA because I feel like there is way too much stuff for me to catch up on, but from what I've seen Ochako is simply best girl! I think you captured her very well. The colors feel so nice and soft and the details are amazing! The work on the wrist donuts paid off, they have that plastic-like texture that I think that particular piece of armor would have.
Good luck drawing all the other characters! There are so many of them...it kind of intimidates me. (saying this like One Piece doesn't have a hundred ton of characters lol)
BnHA is definitely popular though, apparently local conventions here are filled to the brim with people making BnHA merch. The character designs really pave the way for lots of good merch ideas.

Thank you! Haha, yeah there really are. The huge cast initially intimidated me as well, but I'm amazed that I've become so attached to so many characters. It's been a while since I've read or watched a series where I've liked so many of the characters.

I'm still amused by the fact that I struggled with the one hand that I thought would be easy, and the hand that I thought would be hard was the one that was super easy. Thank you so much! I'm really glad to hear that the lack of outlines looks good. I was really on the fence with this one about whether or not I should do outlines and in the end decided against them. The soft and airy feel is what I was going for, so It's great to hear that!
