And thus, concludes the Mane 6 for this series.
I have saved the best for last... It's my girl, FLUTTERSHY!!

I naturally had to space this one out from previous installments. I have a few pieces that involve Flutters peering into your soul already, so this was sorta business as usual. Still tried to keep it special tho. Although the premise is simple & fitting enough, I thought the "pupil" bit was an absolutely meta stroke of genius. I really do love making comic strips, and part of that is getting to come up with these kinds of lines. Comedy gold. 👌

This is THE character that stands as testimony for how much I adore MLP's artstyle, particularly for the eyes.
The eyes are the window to the soul; They show emotion, they show passion, they convey feeling, and beget feelings in others. Fluttershy is already a very passionate, very emotional, receptive, and empathetic character that is driven primarily by her feelings and the constant stirring of her own heart and soul. Because of this, the "big eye" aesthetic (and sentiment) is extremely compatible with her character.
It's just one of the reasons I love Fluttershy so much; She's a character that emotes. She's a character that feels, and makes ME feel... (Thinking about it, pretty much all my favorite characters are this way lol).

A definite crowning jewel in FiM's lineup of stellar character designs... and the crowning jewel to this 'Too Close Series'!
