Lol, Canadian French is one of the weirdest type of French I've ever heard.

Did you know that's how all of France sounded back when they came to the Americas? Those today in Quebec have kept their accents from back then while France changed to the throaty sexy accents we are familiar with today (similar to how Americans today have kept that older British accent and Britain developed their accent we know today only about 200 years ago). Quebec also uses more French words and terms. Their stop signs say "ARRETE" while in France they say "STOP," for instance. Typically (or stereotypically?), Quebec people are pleased just to see outsiders trying to speak French while the Parisian view all outsiders incapable of speaking French...even the poor Quebecoise, who have kept a lot of the older ways. Poor Canada.
