Note: Getting quite the hang of those watercolours, but not of the Arches paper. It's just so abrasive and it doesn't allow lifting pigment well.

It's not real trouble, I just don't like the way that well praised watercolour paper works. I'm used to the soft, fine structure of Canson Montval. I suppose it's a question of taste and habit.

You know, I'm very happy with the handful of people like you, who appreciate my art and enjoy it. Most people on DA look for another kind of art that I'm not disposed to deliver because it's not my cup of tea.
I won't do either gore, busty nudes, manga, fanart nor gothic, so the chances of my art becoming widely popular are kind of limited, lol. This has completely stopped to annoy me, as soon as I'd decided to leave fanart behind me.
I'd rather have that little group of lovely friends than thousands of faves and insignificant aaahs and oooohs that I wouldn't have the time to respond to personally.
