In celebration of the Watchmen movie, I decided to do fanart of One Piece's Shichibukai dressed as the Watchmen and here they are, all the Shichibukai dressed in Watchmen themed costumes. I chose the Shichibukai dressed as the Watchmen because the group as a whole has some similarities to the Watchmen.The Shichibukai are a group of pirates in the service of the World Government who are charged with the safety of the world. They basically watch the world of One Piece. However, many of their pirate activities are very questionable. With secret criminal organizations, zombie minions, and slave trafficking to name a few, a simple question comes to mind, Who watches the Shichibukai?
With this question in mind, I saw a similarity with them with the Watchmen, a group of people who watch over the world but whose actions are questionable. The only difference between the two groups apart from number of members, is that one is a group of privateers while the other is a group of super heroes.

I preferred using the original setup of the Shichibukai with Crocodile rather than the new one with Teach replacing him. I also did so because there isn't exactly a Watchmen character that corresponds to Teach. Also with six Watchmen and seven/eight Shichibukai, it's pretty hard to some extent. Sure, I was able to with Jinbei but that's only because there's an important character that matches him perfectly.
