damn epic i have to say. your knack for detail is astounding when it comes to details for the back ground and the character details are just as good.

*Spoilers* Yes they went to India and got the scolls.
Chapters 1-7 (a prolouge) is all about Son Goku (being born from stone, learns the art of Tao, 72 polymorphic transformations, combat, secret of immortality, and relys on wit and cunning, He dubbed himself "The Great Sage Equal to Heaven" Buddha was really pissed with him and trap him in the 5 mountains for 500 hundred years.
8-12 Sanzo's biography, 13 Sanzo free's Goku but Sanzo doesn't want to rely on magic (but hardships on his journey to get the scrolls. 15 Sanzo gets a horse 19 Hakkai joins the party, 22 Gojou joins the party. 28 though 86 poncing about in thw wilderness and towns harassed by many monsters/demons, evil wizards (loads of wizards and monsters), volcano and rivers, a kingdom of women (the queen wants to marry Sanzo) spiders spirits... all of these trails are done by Buddha (and the monsters turn out to be spirits that escaped from heaven) 87 though 99 made it to India and 100 The disiples and Sanzo journey back East.
