Like always your unique style and layout of oil paint makes this work instantly recognizable. I think you did an amazing job on this one!
I love how you have allowed such a harmonious contrast between the warm and cold colour palette to occur. I find that it instantly draws your eye to the centre and then to the focal point of the lamps that bring in the coldness of the depicted winter day. The subtle hints of warm tones in the snow really allow the two very different colour palettes to work well without over powering one another.
I particularly like the technique that you have used as the movements of your palette knife to lay down the paint do not appear random but appear as if it is intensifying the beauty of the setting as well as adding a nice texture to it.
In addition to this your placement of the trees in the composition really allows a 3D aspect to be felt in this particular piece as helps to draw the eye in to the warm, bright colours as well as help frame the lamp posts that guide you eye throughout the rest of the painting.

Your use of your technique is definitely something to behold. It looks amazing from both far away, and close up. I recommend to everyone to zoom in, and appreciate every single stroke, the use of both direction and color in each when they come together make a truly beautiful scene, with really great depth! The line of lamps also especially help with giving the scene depth, and so does the way the trees' thickness and color changes the further back they are. Something that is also great, is the use of both cool and warm colors, they work with each other. Oh, and look at that bit of warm color used near the bottom of the snow, that's a nice little subtle touch! And that bush to the bottom left... it looks like it has the little branch parts, and it's all because of the superb methods in the paint strokes. Whoa, and every few seconds my eye catches a new interesting detail, seriously, just as I was writing this, I looked up and noticed the closest lamp, on the right... the lighting on the top... that is so good! I hope it doesn't seem like I'm just gushing compliments without being actually critical, but I simply can't think to rate it less! There's just too much to love!

This is one of my favourites in your gallery. The cold of the White makes such a beautiful contrast with the Orange warmth. Both are felt to me and I feel almost transported to this place. I am a great admirer of your work but this one catches my eye even more.

This is so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. I can see that you used a palate knife or spatula for this and your use of color is so excellent. The burning look of the background contrasts beautifully with the snowy foreground. You must have people begging for you to do artwork for them!

This is fascinating, LeonidaFremov. I love the way you textured the reddish and orange light glowing int from behind the trees. It almost reminds me somewhat of a stained glass mosaic. You also include some light posts along the pat, moving from the foreground to the background, but it adds something like an element of mystery to the image.
I can image myself sitting on a bench, observing this precise seen from that vantage point, and just thinking about life, and so many wonderful things. Mathematics, computer programming, architecture, philosophy, politics, the human condition... and then perhaps sketching precisely what I see, and jotting down my thoughts in an old leather-bound journal.
It saddens me greatly that I do not currently have the funds to purchase this painting. If (and when) I ever find myself in a position to purchase your "Winter Fire", Leonida, I will do so. Thank you very much for showing me this. I am very glad to have seen this.

First off, thanks for putting the painting "Above and Beyond" up on your site for sale. My boyfriend wants that painting so bad but we just don't have the money yet but hopefully we can one day buy a wintery wonderland painting from you and our lives will be complete
