I fell off working on this smokey picture a few times. It's inspired by good old Frazetta and stuff 
Done while watching Man with my Face & The Scarlet Hour and while reading Burroughs' "Lost on Venus" and Lester Dent's "The Man of Bronze" Β

Well, it's got more motion in it than some of your other ones. Where this guy on the left is being a quickdraw, and this guy on the right is in the midst of falling down. Less stoic I'd say. More gritty, more lively.

The sign over the door? Yes it does say The Buried Angel. But we just call it Ray's, you know, because it used to belong to Rudy 'Ray' Kingcaid, oh, ten, fifteen years ago or so. The name just stuck around, even if Ray didn't.

Personally I'd recommend the plate o' fried flange-eels, last nights catch was raydiant, and they're still almost-alive. Makes for a slight tickle in the stomach, but the taste in your mouth will last for hours.
