Description I haven't colorized Joseph B222's lineart for a while. Therefore, here is Juhani, the felinoid Jedi Knight from the SW:KOTOR videogame. To color her accurately I researched her on the Wookieepedia. I colorized the lineart in Paint Shop Pro XII. I created the lightsaber blade in Photoshop Elements 9. The blade is just a little off, but it's not really bad for an early attempt.

Enjoy!

Hahaha, indeed, I probably would love Cathar - if only the Mandalorians hadn't destroyed it.

Very nice colors And the lightsaber looks fine for an early attempt. It did take me awhile to get the hang of doing them

Thanks, Joseph. I been practicing with the Photoshop elements 9, but I occasionally have trouble with making the glow visible, especially in light-colored areas. The biggest problem, as evidenced by the Juhani picture, is getting the blade straight enough so it looks aligned with the lightsaber hilt. It's hardest for me when the blade is at an angle as opposed to it being horizontal or vertical.

I hope you can take a little critique, but you did a good job. Love Juhani, love the coloring, and you did a wonderful job.

Just the blade looks like its going on a slightly different angle than the hilt

Yes, I know the blade is slightly off-kilter. But it's a first attempt to do Joseph's lightsabers in Photoshop, so I knew the result would be less than perfect. I've been practicing creating lightsaber blades in both PSP and Photoshop Elements since I did this drawing. I draw the blade's outline in PSP and then transfer the drawing to Elements to be layered, painted, and then applied with the glow. It's a bit of a pain, but it's the only way I know how to do lightsaber blades at the moment. And some of them still don't come out quite the way I want them to.
