I took a pair of black high heals and decorated the toes with tons of pink sweets and goodies. There are handmade clay doughnuts, candy swirls, ice cream scoops, chocolates, cookies, and candy wrappers along with pearls, beads, rhinestones and pink glitter. These shoes are a size 7 1/2 (US Women's) and the heals are about 2 1/2 inches (7 cm) high from the base. They are in good shape and have never been worn.

These shoes are one of a kind and I do not have them in another size (sorry)! But if you're interested in a pair like this in a different size, send me a message and I can try to find a pair in your size to deco or you can ship me your own shoes to deco.

Do you know how well these would hold up on a rainy day, would they be safe in puddles?

No, I wouldn't advise wearing them in rain/puddles. I had a picture frame I decorated in this way that got rained on and the sweets started falling off. The best thing to do would be to bring some flats in your purse and switch them when you get to your destination.

lessthan3chrissy In reply to RighteousRose [2010-11-30 04:30:12 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! It actually wasn't harder than any other deco item, making all the candies by hand takes some time though!

This is brilliant~ They look great~ (◕ω◕)
And I like the "only-on-the-front" decoden. I think it would be too much if it were all over...
"Too much decoden? That's impossible!" you might say.
...And actually, I'd have to say that doessss sounds pretty impossible (◕ω◕)

Hello ! I make my own deco stuff.. And I thought of this so I came here to look for a tut on how to put it on your shows (I usually just do necklace charms or my cellphone covers.) How do you do it to shoes ? Or do you already have a tutorial ? If I had the money right now, I'd definitely buy these haha ! They're gorgeous and just my size (=

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lessthan3chrissy In reply to sickdinozaur [2010-08-12 04:14:22 +0000 UTC]

I just put the deco cream directly on the shoes like you'd do for a cell phone case or anything else. Try it out on your own shoes!

Is it safe to put them in the oven ?
(I use sculpey clay xD)

lessthan3chrissy In reply to sickdinozaur [2010-08-15 04:54:23 +0000 UTC]

I bake sculpey items before I put them in the deco cream, you might want to try that before putting a pair of shoes in the oven >.>

OMFG! This is too good to be true. I've never seen anything like it. maybe I should get into clay as well, looking at this really inspires me. Great job!

lessthan3chrissy In reply to Happysmitten [2010-08-03 16:26:54 +0000 UTC]

Yes you should!!! Polymer clay is really easy to use and it's not that expensive (especially if you have a Michael's coupon) and one set of clay will last you a long time!
