This was made to compensate for having recently seen an icon of mine being used. An icon I personally wanted to use only for myself.

wow, Leu. i'm impressed. quite a comeback. it has a very different effect to it than the previous one, but i wouldn't say it's a let-down. it's actually...very different. like steeled nerves and cool detachment, and at the same this pulsing persistence and-
something. this is like the intimidating side of L, but intimidating in the sense that he knows he's superior, and he knows they know and, well, you get it.
anyway, love it love it love it~
you must be proud.
(although, don't let the memory of the previous L icon stain it. it's quite a beauty in itself as well~)

My hope was to make this a lesson mechanism for the person who did this. In fact, the sole issue was that she confronted me and openly lied to me assuming she would get my understanding. Even attempting to convince the original creator that you had something to do with a certain visual change/modification is very disheartening and I could not feel more insulted. I would be very accepting of her choice had she complimented me for my work, and asked for permission even after she already started using it. But to lie and confront me, to tell me she made it into an icon and added affects to it, is an insult to my intelligence. Because you have to understand she actually thought she could convince me. It does not make sense to me that she would go as far to do this in order to retain her personal sense of dignity. And even to this day, she has not admitted to what she did and only complains that her feelings were harmed in the process. I continuously stated this was a way to help her understand a concept, and that the morality of knowing the difference between right and wrong is to first feel punishment as to avoid reacting it in the future. And that's how it is.

well, no wonder, then. don't know if you've noticed it, but i think all that annoyance has filtered into your art. it's no longer...serene, you see, compared to your previous one (the icon, i mean). i don't blame you at all. regarding the circumstances, i'm sure it could have been worse.
