Heyyy here's my first artwork of a new OC of mine, Zonarin! I got him from apocalclipse on Instagram, via a design challenge trade on zyavera 's discord server (sorry for the ping btw). This was the event I made this buddy for:

Some details about Zonarin:

Zonarin the Merciful is a God so ancient that the peoples of Verni have long forgotten even his name. He hasn't been seen in many millenia, leading those few deep lorists who have heard of him to wonder what happened. Did he abandon the world for which he was once a god, to the forces of lesser gods? Was he slain defending the world from some unknown threat? Or is he still among the people of Verni, in disguise, waiting to reveal himself after some unknowable test?

While none know what happened to him, all accounts agree that Zonarin was a magnificent being. Strong and powerful, yet utterly gentle and kind to those who interacted with him, he treated all with unexpected and unconditional mercy. His name is reverenced among copies of copies of ancient text, the originals and even the first several iterations of copies long lost.
