".... It is a dance of celebration, in honor of the most adorable tap-dancing ballerina fairy princess veterinarian in the world!"okay... so i did it. i finally made her picture for seeing 2,500 page views!!!
for it she asked if i would "draw the bit you like best from A Series of Unfortunate Events.... better yet known as Lemony Snicket. This picture comes from book 11 - the grimm grotto, coz its my favourite so far (i'm too scared to read 12), when Carmelita Spats is singing her song and dancing whilst Esme Squalor is whipping people with her tagliatelle grande in an octopus outfit... whatever floats ure boat love!
But yeah, i love the imagery in that part so i decided to draw it.... and i know, before anyone says anything, THAT CARMELITA ISN'T MENT TO BE PRETTY AND SHE'S MENT TO BE ALL IN PINK..... but thats the way i drew it coz i like drawing that way and the colour issue is - are you ready for this nicola (nearagodz) - i coloured it by hand..... and my TRIA markers don't have that many pinks..... so i had to use purples too. The roses however ARE meant to red!!!
and her shoes are ment to be different colours!!!!
just to say sorry for the sloppyness of some of it... i haven't coloured by hand for ages.... it took me about 6 hours in total - not bad i suppose, and its on textured paper too FYI!!!

THIS IS SO CUTE! I was actually looking up 'spats' like the footwear... but i saw this, and I thought, "HEY I AM RE-READING THOSE RIGHT NOW!" I'm to 12 yet, but - this is still adorable. I would love to see your take on some of the other characters! Heehee, yes, this makes me hope that Carmelita may some day, or in some other world, have been a charming and cheerful girl.

Yea i know that its about 9 months work and you should send your showreel off as soon as (i'm still working on mine) will you note me all the formats and stuff? yea send it of as soon as coz all the students know about it and all them will more than likely go for it
