This is a card in a series I have done that is inspired by "classic" space ships and scenarios from science fiction television and movies. I am combining the old and the older. "Trantor" was the name of the galactic capital planet in many of Isaac Asimov's novels. It was a world that was converted into a global metropolis. George Lucas .. ahem .. "borrowed" this concept for the planet Coresant in "Star Wars". Eventually Trantor's oceans were built over. Here we see the Enterprise visit this nascent metropolis at a time before its seas vanished.
