photoshop, and a uh,,,,, I guess 4yrs old graphire3 (they years i'm sure are more actually). The pen has a square tip. I sorta love that ;_;

I really like it. His face is so beautiful and I like how the flowers kind of look like silk or something. You did a beautiful job representing feathers with brushstrokes.

Well I don't know what your definition of "wrong" is but I love it to pieces. Just faved it in fact. Is the lad there blind? (assuming it's a lad, sorry if it's not) I love the motion in the picture. It feels like he's been startled by the clatter of wings as the birds take flight.

I saw this on your journal and was itching to hit the fave button. There's something so authentic about the paint textures and the deep shadows. The composition is really nice, too -- reminds me of a Japanese screen, for some reason.

Some of us aspire to make such mistakes. I'm favorite-ing it not only to spite you, but because I actually like it.
The herons are spectacular and you picked some brilliant colors to work with. Very Victorian. I'm glad you didn't take a cliche route using roses but I would've picked something other then carnations. Try Peonies. They're similar looking and a lot more elegant. I know it probably sounds very trivial to you but it'd make a big difference to those who know what they're looking at. I look forward to seeing the repainted version of this. I hope you don't delete this version though. It'd be a shame.
