"I know I said I wanted to fuel up before we hit the road, but I meant with food and beer."Okay, so it's a little more than a head and shoulders, but the mental image hit me and I wanted to challenge myself by drawing those mechanical arms. (And hooboy, what a challenge they were! Machinery is not my artistic friend.
) Anyway, here's BankyStar 's Moira Hennesy, steam-powered cyborg, as my half of an art trade. It was a fun stretch!

And thank you, regarding the hands; I started thinking about how they would move, since hands are complicated pieces of machinery even when they're made of flesh and bone, and my mind went back to some gauntlet studies I'd done. (I was a little worried I'd made them too medieval.
