My next Real Princess,this is Kida from Atlantis.
When I was a little girl, I loved this movie, especially because of the artwork, and the character designs.

This took about 5 hours, and I used a reference for the face,
This was a very productive week, because I had free from school, so I don't think I will upload a new one anytime soon, but I will try!

By the way, people complaining on the skin probably forget that most of Atlantis was depicted at night when you look darker and that Kida was living in a subterranean cavern the size of a city! (They actually do exist) anyway, the skin works. She has a nice olive tone here which I like. The eyes are like water, beautiful, striking, yet soothing. You've put so much emotion into this piece, I can feel Kida's pride and hardship in this yet it didn't mar her appearance.

I made this piece many years ago, if I could paint it again I would definetely give the skin a darker tone and I would blend it better without the patches of colour. And you're totally right, they don't see any sunlight under water, so it isn't very likely she had a very dark skin tone anyway. thanks again

the trick is to watch REALLY good and try to copy the real life references as good as possible. And if you make a mistake, don't tell yourself that 'no one will see that' because the human eye is trained to recognise faces so the slightest mistake will be obvious.

I don't know your artstyle and ways of drawing, so I can't really give any 'personal' tips :/

Out of all your real princess renditions, I have to say, this is the only one I want to critique. I think her crystal looks a little two-dimensional, and her skin tone is about two shades too light. That's all
