Rarity about to bring some RRRRAZZLE DAZZLE into the world. This is her casual Friday work outfit -- you know, just simple but of course FABULOUS toujours OHOHO~ //HAIRFLIPGoddd I kept not finding the time to sit down and finish this. Despite my FREE week, it still ended up being super busy with planning for September, shit to take care of, and a good dose of random episodes of sadlegs at life.
Finishing this helped though <3 It's a pink-magenta-blue fiesta~

Rainbow Dash is a total jackass and the show would arguably better without her but still better than old Rainbow Dash. I still don't get why she's such a fan favourite.

Hahah thanks, I'm still deciding which one to do next. I wanted to alternate between mane6 and side-characters. So now it's time for another side, but not sure which one yet. HMMM I also haven't finished S2, so there might be a few I'm not aware of even : O!

HMMM I'll consider doing fluttershy next ^^ And no, probably no spike. tbh the character sort of freaks me out in the series as well... never had a thing for overly cheeky kids. Having him be the only significant male character in the series, makes it even weirder to me XD;;

I was wondering if you used SAI for this and, if so, could I ask what tools you use and a screenshot of your settings? I really adore how you colored this and I can't seem to find tutorials or tool settings or anything on how to create the blending and such for this type of coloring. Fiddling with the tools has only gotten me so far. =/

Yepp I use SAI, and use the "Water(color)" tool for basically everything -- from linearting to coloring, and it's on its default settings. Usually towards the end I use an "AirBrush" at low density (20% or so) over everything to bring it all together and add some color where it looks a little plain. Other than that, it's all just a lot of subtle painting, and being anal about your strokes blending away nicely (ctrl-z, or "undo" is my best friend when drawing).
