Description They held eachother in tight embrace
And quickly twirled their way backwards
Into crowds of young lovers at the spring dance.
Her long red dress seemed to move before she did,
Her feet moving after,
Then his, as the music played their song in reverse.

They danced back to her house,
Back to their first tender kiss
And quietly they drifted apart
As they met for the first time;
Two lonely single people
In separate corners,
Separate lives.
