Description
These are the results of my first time seriously getting into painting Warhammer 40 000 miniatures. The Assault Intercessor Squad comes from the Ultramarines paint starter pack, while the Battleline Marines were from Space Marine Heroes blind boxes, which were intended to be painted as Blood Angels, but I painted them as Ultramarines instead to fit my collection. The traditional highlights were difficult for me to paint, so I instead took what I call a "static shine" approach; Highlights were painted where the miniatures shined from two different angles.
