Description this is a scan of a class project I did which had us do something in Black and White, so I did this in pen and marker for the last 4 or so days. I don't like it that much cause we weren't allowed to have grays, tones, or any kind of gradient, and I'm not good with crosshatching and shading via linework. I don't know how Kentaro Miura does it.

Mostly just a matter of how much time you've got on your hands. Use solid lines for separate objects and multiple thinner crosshatching lines in the general direction of whatever smaller details you wanna do.
