Description I approached this challenge with the mind-set that patience will be the key if this is going to be successful.
With that said, I let one spike of his hair dry completely before working on the next one....
And to capture his expression, I felt it was necessary to sculpt his brow-line.
His outfit is entirely hand sewn, and the symbols on the vest are applied with black acrylic paint. I made sure the vest is removable. He has sandals underneath his pants...but I forgot to specifically photograph them.

Awesome, you must have put a lot of work into it. Adding the brow is cool, you succesfully captured his bad-assery

And SUCCEEDED most righteously. Honestly, it just wouldn't be Kenpachi without his 'R U SRS' brow. And that hair... Good grief, that must have been a trial of patience. Did you use Mod Podge on those loveable spikes?

Patience is something not to be tried, with this custom. XD If you don't let the spikes dry completely before attempting another, you'd run the risk of creating a complete mess.....XDXDXD

Yeah, the secret to the spikiness is watered-down Mod Podge. If you use straight Mod Podge, the hair ends up looking like cement. XD But if you do just the right blend of water and Mod Podge, you get a "gel"-like result. With the water, it takes quite a while longer for the hair to take shape, while with straight Mod Podge you can get the correct shape immediately. But I suppose it takes a while for the water and Mod Podge to "act together" XDXDXD but it's worth the wait. XD
