And here's the beginning of my third group of SU OC's!! Raspberry Diamond's court is pretty massive already– with these seven defective cuts, along with another three gems (a Rose Quartz, Ruby, and a Pearl and their fusion) I've adopted from @/serenamidori, RD's pearl (who's design is still being finished of), aaaand potentially another three gems (a Rose Quartz, Ruby, and Amethyst and their fusion) that I've adopted from @/conspivacy!

But I can't help but love it– this court is going to have any gems I adopt that don't fit in my other two systems, and all my fan gems to!!

Also! There's a secret fusion babe in here– as in, some gem who's already fused OwO There's a free imaginary cookie for the first person who guess who the fusion is– and who they're fused with– correctly!

Raspberry Diamond's era falls around one hundred years after the events of Change Your Mind. With Steven Universe's life as it was, a few more diamonds began to emerge with their own courts in the following thousand years, with the blessing of the original four... including Steven, that is. Raspberry Diamond was one of the earliest diamonds– and she was far shorter than her companions, much like Rose before her.

For all that times were a changing, acceptance towards off-colours and different-gem fusions was still... challenging to the gems from the older eras. Raspberry Diamond and her Pearl set out to collect those who didn't quite fit in, like her own shorter cut self, and quickly collected quite a menagerie. At lot of old planets were disguarded as soon as crops began producing off-colour and disformed gems– and many of those batches were disguarded alongside the shell of the planets they'd emerged from.

This small crew all came from the same planet (besides Raspberry Diamond herself, of course)– and almost all of them emerged from the same batch.

The only non-defective cuts of the disgaurded batch were a Ruby named Oso (fifth from the left, not including RD), a Peridot named Choro (second from the right), and an Aquamarine named Kara (furthest to the right). All three were disguarded along with the rest of the cuts from their kindergarten, due to the high possiblility of non-visable defects.

All the gems from the planet decided to name themselves different, unsual names due to the duplication rate of the kindergarten cuts... and the complete disregard for their upbringing by the abandoning diamonds. Jyushi is another Ruby from the batch (first on the left), Todo another Aquamarine (second from the left), and Ichi another Peridot (third from the left)– all of which were offcolours to volenteered to join Raspberry Diamond when her ship landed offering shelter in the newly changed Homeworld.

Last (but not least), an absolutely miniscule Blue Lace Agate, who was one of three Agate leaders on planet (and the smallest by a mile), also elected to join Raspberry Diamond's crew. Her direct words were "someone needs to help you control these six", though Raspberry noted a particular fondness in her tone as she chased after her crew's heels.
