Um ok... this was just a little doodle collage I put together as a narrative of World War I. Most of the things drawn are explicative but there are a couple things that are kinda vague. But I'll list the symbols for the sake of doing it.

1) Curtain - Schlieffen Plan and the sweeping motion it was meant to make across France.
2) Car and Cross-Hair Target - assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and pregnant wife Sophie.
3) Scarred Girl - mental and physical repercussions of the war such as "shell shock" and limb amputation.
4) Plane - reference to the first use of planes as an offensive resource during the First World War.
5) Explosion Cloud - first uses of chemical warfare with sarin and mustard gas.
6) Barbed-Wire Fence - 'No Man's Land.'
7) Trenches - trench warfare.
8) Upturned German Helmet - the war grew out from the Triple Alliance's aggression.
9) Lilies - honors the soldiers killed.
10) Chains - the Triple Alliance and the Triple Entente, alliances which pulled many nations into the war.

A little too much information there, but can be nice to know.
